Shower Time Favorites
In the past year of "slowing down", I've learned how important it is to find delight in my day-to-day routines. If we're going to spend all this time at home, we might as well make it extra enjoyable right??
One of the routines I've come to love most is shower time! I've filled the rim of my tub and my shower caddy with products I'm absolutely obsessed with - products that smell incredible and FEEL delightful. The whole thing has become like a mini spa for me!
If you're looking to level up your shower game, here are a few of my product faves!
Olaplex Bond Maintenance™ Shampoo & Conditioner
I've had thick, frizzy, dry hair my whole life. No shampoo & conditioner I've ever used is as smoothing and nourishing as the Olaplex products. I used to hate spending a lot of money on shampoo & conditioner, figuring it just all rinses out, but Y'ALL, this stuff actually makes a noticeable difference. Definitely worth the price tag in my opinion!
I got this as part of a gift set and was instantly in love with the packaging and color (of course). I feel like this really adds that luxurious touch to shower time. I like that it isn't too harsh of a scrub, and the coconut oil really packs that extra moisture.
Listen, I've TRIED to switch it up from this facial cleanser, but it's our tried and true!!! (Zach is obsessed with this as well!) I keep one in the shower and one by our bathroom sink. It feels so nice on the skin, and is one of the best cleansers for removing makeup.
There is no reason a razor should be THIS cute. Gold detailing on that pretty pistachio? Impeccable. It also comes in blush pink and a taro tea shade of purple. I can't attest to the blades being the BEST ever (I haven't tried very many), but they work really well in my opinion and the aesthetic sparks joy for me!
Okay, this one is only for the occasional use! Seriously, don't go using this all the time - it WILL dry out your hair if overused. But, we've all had those days when we've gone a little overboard with dry shampoo or let a lot of product build up. That's what this is perfect for! It gives your scalp a good reset and leaves your hair nice and shiny.
*Note: I often use a moisturizing hair mask on my ends after using this.
This is technically more of a "bath" product, but this stuff is the BEST! Bath bombs are fun and all, but I like to have LOTS of bubbles if I'm gonna bath! This one is so relaxing!
This product is the cherry on top of a nice shower! It feels like truly pampering yourself. I used to never apply any kind of lotion or moisturizer on my body after showering, and I don't know why I wasn't doing that! My skin feels so much better after using this oil mist!!!
The scent is amazing, and it leaves my skin silky smooth. It absorbs quickly and is not sticky or greasy at all.
*Note: After showering, I dry my hands off before handling the glass bottle as it can get rather slippery.
One thing I'm still on the hunt for? The best body wash! Right now I'm using a random Olay one that I'm not the biggest fan of, so if you have any recommendations, be sure to DM me!
